    Download the temporary RustDesk support client

    The download includes RustDesk and a temporary helper. It does not install a persistent service.

    Open it and approve the connection

    Grant the requested screen permissions, then approve the technician's connection in RustDesk.

The person helping you will read out a code of 9 numbers, like 234-567-892. Dashes do not matter.

What the program does

  • While the session is running, the person helping you can see your screen.
  • Quick Assist does not install a persistent service or unattended password. Temporary session files are removed when it closes; delete the downloaded file when finished.
  • Close RustDesk or the helper window to stop sharing. The RMM session ends when the helper detects that or when the technician ends it.
  • If you were not expecting this, do not run it. Close this page and contact the support people you normally deal with.
